President & Chief Executive Officer
Prior to founding ABC Polymer Industries, LLC in 1994, Mr. Reed was a Senior Vice President with National Bank of Commerce in Birmingham, AL (RBC). He earned a B.S. in Finance from Auburn University and a Masters in Public and Private Management from Birmingham Southern College. He is a member of the Board of Directors for Oakworth Capital Bank, Maingate MLP Fund, the Robert E. Reed Gastronintestinal Oncology Research Foundation and a past Board Member for RealtySouth. He is a member of the Young President’s Organization (YPO) International and the Society of International Business Fellows.
Chief Financial Officer
Before joining ABC Polymer in January 2008, Trip was CFO of Imaging Business Machines (IBML), a leading document imaging equipment manufacturer and solutions company. At IBML, he initially served as Controller in 1998 and was promoted to CFO in 2001. Prior to his tenure at IBML, he managed accounting as Vice President of Educators Resource, served as Vice President of Finance with Southern Tree Expert Company and led operations for RxManagement. His 22 years of accounting and finance experience also includes budgeting and financial forecasting for PEMCO Aeroplex and financial auditing with the public accounting firm Coopers & Lybrand. Trip holds an MBA from Emory University, a BS from Auburn University and a CPA designation. Trip lives in Birmingham with his wife, Margaret, and his son, Cole.
Robert “Bob” Zellers
His responsibilities include engineering support for customers, along with the issuance of Letters of Certification for specific projects. Bob is highly involved in the fiber industry as he currently serves on the board and is a past President for the Fiber Reinforced Concrete Association (FRCA) and is also active with the ACI, ASTM International, ICC, National Ready Mix Concrete Association (NRMCA), the Transportation Research Board (TRB), and SDI organizations. He is a member of the NRMCA Materials Division Board of Directors and also sits on committees and sub-committees for the ASTM, ACI, and TRB. With over 30 years of experience in the Fiber Reinforced Concrete Industry, Bob has authored/co-authored over 30 technical papers and has lectured around the world on the subject at organizational functions such as the World of Concrete, ACI, ASCE, and NRMCA. Bob’s FRC knowledge and expertise has helped ABC Polymer play a role in the FRC education of engineers, contractors, and ready mixers by providing email newsletters developed especially for each of these industry groups. Bob earned his BE in Civil Engineering from Youngstown State University.
Robert “Rob” Yates
Rob is responsible for client engineering support, championing project lead platforms, and preparing project submittals. Rob draws on over a decade of private engineering consulting experience where he specialized in structural concrete design. Much of Rob’s experience with fiber reinforced concrete comes from a series of large multi-year projects for a large utility in California where Rob lead a team of engineers in the development and implementation of a new watertight fiber-reinforced shotcrete engineering standard for water conveyance canals. He enjoys using his engineering background and experience to help our customer’s value engineer projects by replacing steel with concrete fibers for plastic shrinkage and secondary/temperature shrinkage (non-structural) reinforcement. Prior to joining ABC Polymer Industries, he was the Commercial Development Manager at CEMEX, where he was involved in roller-compacted concrete (RCC) pavement market development, pavement engineering, specification writing, technical support, development and training of RCC contractors, laboratory mixture development, and materials engineering.
Rob is certified as a Level 1 ACI Concrete Laboratory Testing Technician, ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician, National Ready-Mixed Concrete Association Certified Concrete Technologist Level 2, 3 and Level 4, and a National Ready-Mixed Concrete Association Pervious Concrete Technician. He is affiliated with the American Concrete Institute and an Associate Member of ACI Committee 544, Fiber-Reinforced Concrete. Rob holds BS’s in Civil Engineering and Forestry & Natural Resources Management from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
Mr. Mark A. Todd

Mr. Todd specializes in real estate and transaction law. He earned his B.S. in Accounting and Finance with Honors from the University of Texas and earned a Juris Doctorate from Southern Methodist University School of Law where he was a member of the Law Review.
Mr. Scott B. Reed
